E-commerce giant Amazon has invested in 26 new utility-scale wind and solar projects worldwide, bringing the company’s total renewable energy capacity to 6.5GW. Amazon has invested in solar and wind projects in France, Germany, Italy and South Africa for the first time as part of a plan to run on 100% renewable energy by 2025.
