Researchers with Texas A&M
AgriLife Research say that the algae-based biofuel can be used as an
alternative to jet fuel and can serve other transportation needs. “The
commercialisation of algal biofuel has been hindered by the relatively low
yield and high harvesting cost,” said Joshua Yuan, PhD said.
