Global renewables jobs reached 16.2 million in 2023, but hydro dropped – HydroReview

The highest ever growth in renewable energy jobs occurred in 2023, increasing from 13.7 million in 2022 to 16.2 million, according to the new Renewable Energy and Jobs – Annual Review 2024 by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and International Labour Organization (ILO).
