WWF responds to new global electrification target proposed by COP31 President-Designate – WWF

COP31 President-Designate Murat Kurum has proposed a new global goal to raise the share of final energy demand met by electricity from just over 20% to 35% by 2035, putting electrification at the centre of efforts to speed the shift away from fossil fuels.
